Shawn Whitaker with Combat Logistics Detachment 5, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command recovers after being exposed to oleoresin capsicum during a non-lethal weapons training course, Feb. 9, 2018. The course is used to train Marines to respond to hostile individuals in non-lethal ways and concludes with them completing an obstacle course after getting exposed to oleoresin capsicum, commonly known as pepper spray.
