Construction continues on Dam No. 4 on the Cumberland River in Tennessee Nov. 7, 1909. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers built this old dam and lock to establish a navigation channel. The lock and dam was replaced by today's modern dam system.(USACE Photo)
