Staff Sgt. Edward Mims opens the recirculation valve to a skid fuel receiver, April 5, at Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq. Petroleum, oil, and lube (POL) troops provide support to five surrounding forward operating bases as well as Army and Air Force operations in Kirkuk. Mims is a fuels supervisor with the 506th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron.
