On March 28, Marines and Sailors attending the Lioness Program in Al Asad, Iraq, practice proper search procedures. This program is being used to ensure proper care is taken while searching female Iraqis. Regimental Combat Team 2 is deployed with II Marine Expeditionary Force in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq, Multi National Forces-West to develop the Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market base economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
