A restored covered wagon is installed in front of the Santa Margarita Ranch House on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., 20 Feb. 2018. The Camp Pendleton Historical Society contracted U.S. Army LtCol. Andrew Brochu (Ret.), master wheelwright, to restore the wagon as a replacement for an 1880 wagon presented to the Commanding General of Camp Pendleton in 1987 by the Padre Juniper Serra Riders in appreciation for preserving the western heritage of the rancho.
