GULF OF THAILAND (Feb. 18, 2018) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Faith Phillips signals to an MH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter pilot, assigned to the "Sea Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 22, as it approaches the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) during Exercise Cobra Gold 2018. Bonhomme Richard is participating in CG18 alongside Royal Thai Navy ships and personnel, conducting a range of amphibious operations that will enhance the tactical expertise of participants and rehearse combined capabilities to respond to contingencies.
