Padilla, commanding general of Marne Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and the Eastern Recruit Region; Steve Ellis, Walton Construction and Navy Capt. John Heinzel, commanding officer of Naval Facilities Engineering Command, cut the ribbon of the new 3rd Recruit Training Battalion complex at its ribbon-cutting ceremony, May 27. Recruits with 3rd RTBn., are scheduled to move into the new squadbays this month.
