PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 21, 2018) - Royal Australian Air Force Sergeant Daniel Saunders, a load master aboard a C-27 Spartan aircraft, monitors activity during a multi-national air operation and disaster relief exercise focused on humanitarian assistance while flying over the Pacific Ocean, Feb. 21. Cope North enhances multilateral air operations between nations. This years exercise combined more than 2,000 U.S. troops with more than 800 Japanese and Australian troops, and more than 100 aircraft from 21 units, training for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions.
