Pfc. Jonathan Foster, an Omaha, Neb. native, now a combat engineer with 623rd Engineer Company, Nebraska National Guard, smoothes out wet cement in a wooden square mold with fellow engineers Spc. Dillan Hebert and Sgt. Josh Birkel at Combat Outpost Fortitude in Imam Sahib, Kunduz province May 29. The boxes will be used as foundations for two indoor shower and bathroom facilities for soldiers with 2nd Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
