FORWARD OPERATING BASE JACKSON, Helmand province, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan - Cpl. Christopher E. Lucio, a mechanic for 2nd Platoon, Truck Company B, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, signs for gear from Cpl. Rene Sotelo, the loadmaster for 2nd Plt., during a resupply at Forward Operating Base Jackson in Sangin, June 15. Lucio is currently serving as the unit movement control center’s watch officer for 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment. The platoon based out of Camp Margarita aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., serves as the combat logistic resupply for the battalion. Lucio, 25, is from Houston and graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 2004. Soleto, 23, is from Chicago and graduated from Motorn High School in 2006.
