180223-N-NB544-153 GULF OF THAILAND (Feb. 23, 2018) Airman Jonathan Johnson, from Perehamboy, N.J., attaches a chain to a CH-53E Super Stallion, assigned to the "Wolfpack" of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 466, on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) following HMH-466’s return from their participation in Exercise Cobra Gold 2018. Bonhomme Richard has completed its participation in Exercise Cobra Gold 2018 alongside Royal Thai Navy ships and personnel, as it conducted a range of amphibious operations that aimed to enhance tactical expertise of participants and rehearse combined capabilities to respond to contingencies. Cobra Gold is an annual exercise conducted in the Kingdom of Thailand held this year from Feb. 13-23 with seven full participating nations.
