Sgt. Howard Meneses, a squad leader with the military police platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, “Griffin” Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division – Center and a Miami native, looks over a training manual to ensure that all the components for a particular item were accounted for and laid out properly, June 13, at Camp Liberty, Iraq. “It is important to make sure that all the components for an item are accounted for and that the shortage annex is updated to reflect the missing pieces—all these combined equal a smooth change of command inventory and less time for my soldiers to be in the hot sun,” said Meneses.
