U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (March 1, 2018) – U.S. Navy Sailors and Marines attached to Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, participate in a six-mile hike around Naval Support Activity Bahrain. The hike is part of the U.S. Navy training required to complete the Fleet Marine Force Warfare Officer training program. Additional requirements include serving in a Marine Corps command, completing a written test, passing the Marine physical fitness test and an oral board conducted by FMF qualified officers.
