The winning 244th Quartermaster Battalion team – accompanied by their platoon sergeant trainer, Sgt. 1st Class Michael Woods – races to the finish line of the 23rd QM Brigade Soldier Stakes competition here Feb. 24. The troops are carrying a first aid dummy weighing approximately 200 pounds. It was the last of nine warrior task and battle drill challenges encountered over a roughly three-mile course.
