NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (March 1, 2018) Cmdr. David Kurtz, executive officer of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), and crewmembers watch from the ship's bridge as shipyard personnel move Nimitz into a dry dock at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS-IMF). Nimitz is currently preparing for a docking planned incremental availability at PSNS-IMF where the ship will receive scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
