The “Scenes from our Navy: Combat Art of the Twenty-First Century” exhibit opened at the National Museum of the United States Navy. Combat artist Kristopher Battles stands next to one of several of his paintings included in the show. The exhibit showcases 35 pieces of artwork of the U.S. Navy’s Combat Art Program from the past 15 years. The Combat Art Program us a core component of the Naval History and Heritage Command’s Navy Art Collection. “Scenes from our Navy” is open through December 14, 2018.
