CAMP LEATHERNECK, Helmand Province, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan – Burkburnett, Texas, native, Lance Cpl. Christopher Stutz carries leftover bottles of water to a container for later use. He volunteered to waive his dwell time immediately after returning from Iraq to deploy with the Support Platoon for Headquarters Battalion, 2nd Marine Division (Forward). Stutz, a motor transport Marine, is responsible for helping support the battalion wherever it needs additional Marines to ensure its missions are completed successfully.
