The debris removal and disposal mission task to the Corps of Engineers by FEMA has removed hundreds of thousands of cubic yards of debris on the first pass along the streets of Joplin, Mo. The Corps of Engineers estimates the debris mission will collect more than 3 million cubic yards of debris in Joplin and Duquesne.
