A member of the New York Naval Militia's Southern Command uses a chainsaw to clear debris as part of a class on chainsaw operation and safety at Camp Smith Training Site, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., Mar. 6, 2018.The Naval Militia is composed of Navy and Marine Corps Reservists who agree to respond to state missions when called.
