Jessika Blersch, the sustainability coordinator for the Florida National Guard's Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, pumps methanol into a biodiesel processor while processing vegetable oil from the installation's Consolidated Dining Facility into biodiesel. The cleaner-burning biodiesel is used to fuel state maintenance vehicles and saves the Guard money while also reducing the amount of waste that comes out of the installation.
