A U.S. Marine with Task Force Southwest (TFSW) monitors a surface burn to properly dispose of ammunition packaging at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, March 9, 2018. Explosive ordnance disposal Marines planned, conducted, and oversaw the burn to ensure proper and safe disposal. Approximately 300 Marines with TFSW are deployed to the Helmand province and are partnered with Afghan National Defense and Security Forces to assist with increasing security and stability to the region.
