The San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage is underway with the other ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in the Navy’s first ARG Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
