U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Christopher Sheeks, a network warfare operator assigned to Combined Joint Interagency Task Force 435 and a native of Clarksdale, Miss., checks the local area network cable connections in the server cabinet of Kabul University's Law and Political Science School's newest computer lab set up by CJIATF-435 as part of an ongoing project between the task force and the school. Funding for the equipment was provided through the Commander's Emergency Response Program with the intent to increase the law school's capability of educating and training students who will become part of the growing Afghan rule of law institutions throughout the country. CJIATF-435 works closely with the Afghanistan in cooperation with Afghan, interagency, coalition and international counterparts. All contributions are carefully planned to produce self-sustaining Afghan capacity for governance, dispute resolution and the rule of law.
