The 2018 Yuma Airshow headliner, The Patriots Jet Team, performs an acrobatic aerial display for spectators on the flight line of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Saturday March 17, 2018. The Patriots Jet Team, are the largest civilian-owned aerobatic jet team in the western hemisphere, began with the vision of one person, Randy Howell. Fueled by a passion for aviation since childhood, it became Howell's mission to create a six-jet precision demonstration team that could entertain, inspire, and educate. The airshow is MCAS Yuma's only military airshow of the year and provides the community an opportunity to see thrilling aerial and ground performers for free while interacting with Marines and sailors.
