Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Search and Rescue HH-1N "Huey", displays their capabilities during the 2018 Yuma Airshow Saturday, March 17, 2018. The "Huey" is used by the Marine Corps to provide all-weather, day-or-night, airborne command, control and coordination for assault support operations. Additionally, it is used for assault transportation and maritime special operations, forward air control, aeromedical evacuation of casualties from the field and tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel missions. The airshow is MCAS Yuma's only military airshow of the year and provides the community an opportunity to see thrilling aerial and ground performers for free while interacting with Marines and Sailors.
