The divers are conducting decompression sickness training inside a recompression chamber aboard the Military Sealift Command rescue and salvage ship USNS Safeguard during a Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Philippines 2011 training exercise. CARAT 2011 is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance force readiness.
