Sailors assigned to the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Olympia (SSN 717) tour the Washington Capitol Building in Olympia, Wash., March 19. The crew visited their namesake city of Olympia to perform community relations projects and included a series of engagements with key civic and government leaders, and locally-based organizations in the Washington State capital city of Olympia and surrounding areas. Commissioned on Nov. 17, 1984, USS Olympia is the second ship of the United States Navy to be named after Olympia, Washington.
