Louisiana National Guardsmen from 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment drop bundles of recycled Christmas trees from a UH-60 Black Hawk into Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge in New Orleans East to help combat coastal erosion, March 14, 2018. The project has re-established hundreds of acres of marshland in the Bayou Sauvage NWR over the last 23 years.
