Jose Manuel Valdez who recieved U.S. citizenship July 7, during a ceremony at the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo. Valdez, an infantryman with C Company 1-200th Infantry from Las Cruces, N.M., is serving a tour of duty in Kosovo. U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo, Christopher W. Dell, left, attended the ceremony and was on hand to congratulate the newest citizen.
