(January 22, 2018) Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic employee Chad Sullivan tins the wire for a new battery lead to install on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Sullivan is a member of the SSC Atlantic Unmanned Systems Research (SAUSR) Range team which is working with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to put autonomous technology in the hands of warfighters. SSC Atlantic develops, acquires and provides life cycle support for command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, information technology and space capabilities. A leading-edge Navy engineering center, SSC Atlantic designs, builds, tests, fields and supports many of the finest frontline C4ISR systems in use today, and those being planned for the future.
