The unofficial unit mascot, a pink flamingo, from the 283rd Combat Communications Squadron (CBCS), based out of Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia Air National Guard, keeps a watchful eye outside the makeshift 283rd CBCS headquarters tent during an annual field training exercise at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., March 26, 2018. The 283rd CBCS joined with other combat communications units from the 226th Combat Communications Group (CCG), the 5th CCG, and the 960th Cyberspace Operations Group for a Total Force Combat Comm Rodeo aimed at training the Airmen to be well versed in the equipment they use to provide deployable cyber capabilities in support of the Joint Forces Air Component Commander and the Air Force Forces Commander.
