    Barry Niepokny, a poolee in the Marine Corps delayed entry program waiting to go to recruit training, struggles to lift an ammo can during a combat fitness test June 25, during a family day event organized by Marines with Recruiting Substation Hollywood, Fla. Poolees participated in the CFT, with a catch, the beach sand added a level of difficulty recruiters said will better prepare them for the physical demands of recruit training.
