The guided-missile cruiser USS Chosin gets underway after departing dry dock following a maintenance availability under the U.S. Navy's cruiser modernization program at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. The goal of CMP is to ensure achievement of the 35-year expected service life for each of the U.S. Navy's 22 Ticonderoga-class cruisers.
