Female engagement teams meet with villager in a simulated scenario. The teams assess the needs of the, provide limited health care on site and are able to advocate for the local female population in accordance with a UN mandate to protect civilians on March 26, 2018. Female engagement teams are a part of the Zambian battalion that is currently training at the Nanking Peace Mission Training Center. The Zambian battalion will soon deploy in support of the United Nations Multidimensional Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic. Training modules include; marksmanship, mounted battle drills, battlefield trauma scenarios, cordon and search, and convoy operations. Training began on 29 Jan and is scheduled to complete on 29 Mar.
