Cadets from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis practice platoon tactics during the advanced combat training course, June 9, with members of the Ugandan People's Defense Force in Entebbe. The UPDF and the American students participated in a cultural and military exchange of ideas during the course of a one week to learn about each other's cultures and to share best practices. The students are holding Soviet-era AK-47 assault rifles to gain a familiarity with the popular weapon.
