Samantha Tromly, SOFWERX STEM team, demonstrates individual aerial mobility technology for Jude Norris during MacDill Air Force Base’s STEM Day March 21, 2018. SOFWERX brings together the best minds of industry, academia and government to collaborate and find solutions to the toughest science and technology challenges while championing science, technology, engineering and mathematics education for all levels of society. SOFWERX has established a baseline technical workforce that includes employees of the Doolittle Institute, government, university interns, and most recently industry fellows that are provided and supported by interested commercial industry partners to broaden the depth and scope of the STEM collaboration bench.
