U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Anthony Trick (center) of Inverness, Fla., the brigade medical operations non-commissioned officer in charge of the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade’s aviation consolidated aid station, points out an injury on a simulated casualty to soldiers completing the lanes portion of the combat lifesaver course. Trick and a fellow medic developed the CLS lanes to create realistic scenarios to better prepare soldiers for the possible conditions and injuries they might treat on the battlefield.
