Maj. John Stuart, from Marshall, Virginia, is an F-35B Lightning II pilot with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, which is currently embarked aboard the USS Wasp (LHD-1). Stuart graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Systems Engineering and was a member of the Student Engineers’ Council and the Virginia Tech Motocross Club at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, also known as Virginia Tech.
