Mustafa Khrayin and Jihad Liji, members of the Dawr Az Zawr Civil Council, inspect a water pumping station along a canal, which provides much needed water for agriculture in the Dawr Az Zawr Province of Syria, April 5, 2018.
The pumping station became non-operational when the local power grid was destroyed in a battle between the SDF and ISIS. Members of the DCC and Coalition are working to obtain the parts and labor necessary to repair the station. Once the parts are acquired, experts believe it will only require a few weeks to return the station to full capacity. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt. Timothy R. Koster)
