Epifanio Velez, Air Mobility Command Inspector General Team inspection planners, shut down an explosion simulator during a base exercise, April 12, 2018, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The machine simulated an explosion that resulted in a train derailment, a chemical spill, and multiple casualties, and 375th Air Mobility Wing Airmen were tested on their ability to respond to each situation simultaneously.
