In this image released by the Texas Military Forces, a hat belonging to the Mayor of New Braunfels hangs on the back of a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System during a live fire exercise conducted by the 133rd Field Artillery Battalion, Texas Army National Guard in Fort Hood, Texas. The battalion field-tested the new HIMARS during this year's annual training. It is an honorable field artillery tradition to hang hat of officers and high ranking officials on the HIMARS and burn them using the blast of the rockets leaving a small charred cloth for a souvenir.
