The last C-5M Super Galaxy to be added to the Travis Air Force Base, Calif., fleet arrives April 17, 2018, from Lockheed Martin. The C-5M, with a cargo load capacity of 281,001 pounds, can fly 2,150 nautical miles, offload, and fly to a second base 500 nautical miles away from the original destination, all without aerial refueling.
