1st Lt. Andrew Irwin and 1st Lt. Colton Giordano of 3rd Combined Arms Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, carry a casualty dummy during a medical evacuation lane at this year’s Best Ranger Competition April 15, at Fort Benning, Ga. The 35th Annual David E. Grange Jr. Best Ranger Competition is a three-day event that tests competitors' physical, mental, and technical capabilities. There were three teams that represented 3rd ID, two from 2nd ABCT and one from Task Force 1-28 Infantry. The 3rd ID was the only non-ranger unit that had more than one team finish, Irwin and 1st Lt.
