The U.S. Army's 1st Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment, and members of 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, stand in formation for a parachute wing exchange at Camp Rocky in Rockhampton July 18, 2011, during Talisman Sabre 2011. The parachute wing exchange parade was conducted for Australian and U.S. paratroopers who parachuted into the Shoalwater Bay Training Area as part of Talisman Sabre 2011 July 17, 2011. Four of the seven soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment who parachuted with the U.S. Army's 1st Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment, were presented their individual U.S. Army Parachute Wings by the U.S. Army Lt. Col. Thomas Ellis, 1st Battalion commander. Then, members of 3RAR reciprocated by presenting 3RAR parachute wings to all o270 U.S. Army paratroopers who partook in the event.
