Melissa Candy, an Oregon Army National Guard soldier personnel specialist from Medford, Ore., awaits the call to fire the Singapore Assault Rifle -21st Century as part of a cultural exchange during Tiger Balm 11 held in Singapore, July 20. Tiger Balm is an annual bilateral training exercise between the Singapore armed forces and U.S. citizen-soldiers and citizen-airmen. This year's training, hosted at Pasir Laba Camp, focuses on the military decision making process, sharing knowledge and cultural experiences.
