NORFOLK, Va. (Apr. 18, 2018) -- Ensign Robert Coleman, from Rialto, California, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) medical department, recites the commissioning oath given by Cmdr. Jonathan Elliot, Ford’s senior medical officer, during Coleman’s commissioning ceremony. Coleman commissioned as a medical service corps officer after 15 years of service as a hospital corpsman.
