A young boy poses for a photo at a medical clinic in Busayrah, Syria, April 12, 2018. Advisors from the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS met with doctors from the clinic to understand the capabilities the clinic brings to the community and how they can assist in making it operate more efficiently.
When ISIS was in control of the town, all of the medical equipment was stolen for the private use of the terrorist organization. With assistance from the Coalition, doctors at this clinic hope to provide general medical, pediatric and women’s care.
