    Outgoing 1st Sgt. Tina R. Brown passes the Non-commissioned Officers Sword to Sgt. Maj. Daniel F. Borrero during the Change of Command and Change of Responsibility ceremony July 22. The sword was then passed to incoming 1st Sgt. Jason M. Schofield. The passing of the sword signifies the relinquishing of responsibility from the outgoing to the incoming First Sergeant .While no longer part of the Army's inventory, U.S. sergeants wore it for more than seventy years.
