Approximately 200 of the 1,500 U.S. Marines and Sailors of Marine Rotational Force - Darwin 2018 arrive at the Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, Australia, April 17. In addition to conducting multilateral training with the Australian Defence Force, and providing regional security, MRF-D personnel will continue their tradition of community outreach to maintain strong ties with the residents of Australian communities. U.S. Marines and Sailors with MRF-D rotations are comprised of a competent expeditionary fighting force that is proficient, culturally sensitive and capable of responding to any crisis or contingency (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Rivera, Kayla D./Released).
