Thomas Wirfel, data-strategy lead for Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Business Systems Center (BSC) in Mechanicsburg, Pa., answers a question about Navy Business Intelligence Services (NBIS) during the Department of the Navy (DON) IT Conference, East Coast 2018 in Norfolk, Va. The three-day event was held April 23-25, and served as an opportunity for discussion, collaboration, and training of IT policies and initiatives. As part of the conference, Capt. Douglas M. Bridges Jr., NAVSUP BSC commanding officer, and NAVSUP BSC subject-matter experts showcased Navy One Touch Support, NBIS, and eSUPPO mobile application. NAVSUP BSC provides the Navy with information systems support through the design, development, and maintenance of information systems in the functional areas of logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, and accounting.
